Anchor Points: You Always Have a Seat at His Table

What does it feel like when the lunch room is full of people … and you’re still looking for a place to sit?

And deeper still… what does it feel like to wonder if you really belong at all?

In today’s Anchor Point, we explore:

  • How memories of school and workplace isolation—kids who eat alone, walk aimlessly, avoid the cafeteria—aren’t just school‑stories, they reflect something deeper.
  • Why the fear of being judged or being left out is real, even long after the lunch‑bell.
  • How the good news of Jesus offers a radically different invitation: not to a table based on status, performance, appearance or popularity. but to one where you are genuinely welcome, valued, and seen.

Scripture (NIV):

When one of those at the table with him heard this, he said to Jesus, ‘Blessed is the one who will eat at the feast in the kingdom of God. (Luke 14:15)

About the Podcast

InSight Out
Clarity for the mind. Joy for the heart. Truth for the times. Christian news, devotionals & podcast conversations to help us flourish.
Think, see, and live differently. By uncovering God’s truth and removing the blinders that keep us from seeing clearly, we are called not only to reflect on these truths when we rise, when we lie down, and in all we do, but to live them out in every area of our lives.

As Deuteronomy 6:6-7 reminds us, “These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.” Faith is not meant to stay in our thoughts; it is meant to be lived out in action. What fills our minds and hearts shapes our lives, and what we truly believe must become evident in how we live. Together, we will learn what it means to live this out every day.

This is more than a podcast; it is a way of life, a call to see life InSight Out, to live as we were created to live, flourish as God intended, and build our lives on the rock-solid foundation of His Word. Why? Because how we live matters.
